Director, DESAT Enterprise Operations

Team and/or Business Summary

Reporting to the Global Operations Leader, Global Sales Acceleration Team, this role will support the DESAT (Dell, EMC Synergy Acceleration Team) to work on offerings we can leverage in the Enterprise segment. You will serve as an advisor to IT, Field, and BU teams to guide the optimal experiences, resulting in revenue growth and routes to market reach. He/she will assure new offerings, IT projects and route to market programs deployments have required 360-degree organizational alignment and sustaining operational viability and governance.

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Enabling routes to market and evangelize those RTMs contributions and needs internally.

  • Assessment of current partner programs and revenue flows and how those should evolve moving forward.

  • Aligning the Dell/EMC/Vmware partner engagement model, its requirements and enablement needs.

  • Integration and alignment with the BU teams’ approach via regular management reviews.

  • Optimization of cross-functional IT plus resources, tools and business intelligence.

  • Drive requirements for IT developed partner & internal facing tools or portals, quoting, ordering or payment processing. Includes strong BRD (Business Requirements Documentation), Process flows, and User Story development feeding into agile IT development projects.

  • Advance team members skills and visibility as SaaS Global Partner Ecosystem Subject Matter Experts for VMware.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of operations/technology-based partner programs experience.

  • Validated ecosystem program management experience with SaaS software and multiple routes to market worldwide.

  • Proven track record of guiding development of quote to cash programs, entitlements and enablement into partner routes to market.

  • Ability to influence change and guide new initiatives that aligns with cross functional organization inside of VMware.

  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.

  • Demonstrated expertise and success in the analysis, design, and automation of business processes.

  • The ability to operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment, be able to manage multiple stakeholders and groups simultaneously and have strong communications skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and tactful diplomacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with systems including Salesforce.com, other CRM tools, and (Steelbrick/SFDC, Oracle, Apptus) tools.

  • BS Degree in Business Sciences; MBA is highly desirable
