ROLE DESCRIPTION: Health Analytics Strategy & Transformation Manager
Analytics Advisory is an integral part of Accenture Analytics, partnering with our largest clients to define and enable insights-led transformation. As a Manager in our Analytics Advisory practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients tackle complex business issues. You will support the development and delivery of analytically-informed, issue-based solutions that help clients make faster, smarter decisions. Specifically, you will help deliver analytics strategy and transformation programs including defining an analytics vision & strategies, redefining the operating model & talent strategy, and managing the change journey to deliver sustainable business value. You will also support our most transformative opportunities, enabling an end-to-end analytics journey by bringing the best of Accenture Analytics to our clients. As a Manager you will also play a role in the development of junior members of the team.
Sales Origination & Business Development
Position Accenture as the lead partner for Analytics with our clients
Help identify new business opportunities relating to analytics or digital initiatives in the Southeast Region
Support the development of business cases for further project sales as determined by the practice
Support the development of “request for proposals” responses and contract development
Analytics Strategy & Transformation Delivery and Relationship Management
Apply Accenture standard methods for performing strategy assessments and implementations
Deliver high quality strategy outputs and architect subsequent transformation
Help create an integrated value proposition and work with the client to gain alignment and buy-in
Leverage the best from Accenture to architect the solution
Extend Accenture’s footprint at our Health Industry clients by connecting Analytics Strategy & Transformation delivery to other Analytics and Industry Business Service offerings in order for our clients to achieve sustainable growth and value
Practice Development and Growth Support
Help shape analytics strategy assets to accelerate sales and delivery
Contribute to thought leadership, credentialing, patent development, and training and awareness in line with our innovation agenda and the advancement of our Analytics Strategy & Transformation practice
Mentor and coach junior level practice members
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Core analytics strategy skills (assessment, strategy definition, business case, roadmap development, etc.)
Understanding of how to link analytics with business value to shape the business case
Understanding of analytics operating models and governance structures
Ability to lead one or more work streams within a portfolio of strategic, business, and technical client projects including providing day to day leadership to multiple work streams
Solid understanding of analytics, including data management, business intelligence, and predictive analytics
Understanding of how advanced data techniques can be applied to solve client problems
Knowledge of big data platforms, tools and applications
Quantitative background/proven problem-solving skills
Understanding of analytics roles and responsibilities (e.g., data scientist)
Health Industry & Functional analytics experience
Strong industry relevance (payer/provider)
Ability to partner with our clients to understand business problems and strategies
Ability to translate business issues into specific requirements to develop analytics solutions
Client Delivery & Relationship Management
Ability to interact with and influence Director and above
Ability to interpret the results of analytical insights and translate results to the client in business context to drive value
Able to explain complex concepts in non-technical language
YOUR EXPERIENCE - Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with healthcare data and systems (in a payer or provider environment)
Minimum of 4 years working in Health System Analytics, Strategy, Innovation, and/or Operations role(s)
Minimum of 4 years of experience using healthcare data for strategy development (e.g. service area expansion, M&A, patient acquisition, etc.), product development (e.g. marketing/campaign effectiveness, mobile app design, wellness program design, etc.), and/or advanced analytics (e.g. predictive modelling, scenario analysis, data discovery, etc.)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare consulting/advisory role
Meet travel requirements, up to 80% (Monday – Thursday)

Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline (Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science)
Masters or MBA (Statistics or Mathematics)
Experience with evolving approaches and technologies such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cognitive Systems, and Robotics and corresponding contribution to advancing analytics maturity for clients
Ability to understand and apply statistical methods and outputs to create client value in a business context
