The Creative Group in Austin is in search of a Communications Director for our client in the Greater Austin Area. //Job Description// Collaborate with executive leadership and internal marketing and communications teams to execute communication and marketing strategies to broaden the companies and manages the production of internal and external materials. Requirements

  • Develops, executes and is accountable for organizational messaging and delivery. Manages communications and marketing staff.

  • Creates, implements and evaluates comprehensive communications and marketing plans for the company.

  • Manages all aspects of marketing and communications through the concept, design, production and tracking efficacy of initiatives. Executes the communication plan and brand style guide.

  • Develops, implements and maintains social media and the online engagement strategy. Develops and maintains copy for the Website. Works with others to ensure style is consistent and professional.

  • Manages planning and implementation of organizational events.

  • Ensure that the website professionally and properly reflects accurate information and brand of the company. Complete audit of website in an effort to make improvements and find efficiencies within the communication processes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned. //Requirements and preferred education// Bachelor's degree, four years of college, specialized professional training, or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree in communication, public information, journalism, marketing, or related field. More than 5 years equivalent knowledge and skill. Experience in journalism, marketing, or communications, and project management.
