Job DescriptionThe Team Leader, Regional Marketing, Community Engagement will be responsible for operationalizing the Global Marketing Plan within their specific area of responsibility across the stores in their assigned geographic region. They will ensure executional excellence in all key programs and initiatives.


  • Responsible for execution of the Global Marketing Plan within their specific area of responsibility (across the stores with their assigned geographic region.

  • Tracks costs, schedules and overall marketing initiative timelines at the local level. Provides status updates and ensures open/regular engagement among and between all relevant stakeholders.

  • Regularly report what’s working well and opportunities of improvement in a productive manner.

  • Collaborates with other regional marketing Team Members to leverage shared learnings. Gathers, synthesizes and analyzes metrics to determine viability and/or success of initiatives at the local level.

  • Own the development of marketing plans for competitive incursions and under-performing stores in partnership with Regional Leadership and Divisional Marketing Leadership. Applies knowledge of local competitor actions and their implications to the business. Supports initiatives to capitalize on strengths and opportunities, and to counter competitive threats.

  • Train and develop direct reports. Drives team to achieve short-term goals in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Evaluates individual and the team’s collective performance.

Role-specific deliverables:

Community Engagement & Events:

  • Identify key local influencers.

  • Partner with store Team Members.

  • Build and maintain relationships with appropriate local community stakeholders.

  • Implement in-store events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 0-2 years’ leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in focus area – preferably with a retailer.

  • Occasional travel including overnight trips may be required.
